What To Expect

Conquer Korabi 2764 m – The highest peak of Albania and North Macedonia , also one of only two summits in Europe to be the highest point for more than one country, the other being Mont Blanc.

Conquer Gjeravica 2656 m – Kosovo Highest and the Second Highest Peak of Dinaric Alps.

Pass by Zla Kolata 2534 m – Montenegro Highest Mountain.

Peaks of the Balkans Ceremi to Valbona and Doberdol to Ceremi

What To Expect

Day 1 – Arrival & Into the Highlands
Meet at Tirana Airport and journey north-east toward the wild borderlands of Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia. The scenic drive ends in the peaceful mountain village of Radomirë, framed by lush valleys and towering peaks. Settle into your guesthouse, enjoy a traditional dinner, and rest up — tomorrow’s adventure begins right from your doorstep. Driving time 3 hours. Overnight in Radomire.

Day 2 – Summit Korab (2764m)Distance 22 km Disnivel +1450 m -1450 m 10 hours total.
Rise early to tackle Mount Korab, the highest peak of Albania and North Macedonia. The steady ascent leads through forests and alpine pastures before opening to vast summit views over Mavrovo National Park. After celebrating at the top, descend and transfer into Kosovo, following the Drin Valley to historic Gjakova for the night. Driving time 2h 40 mins. Overnight in Gjakova.

Day 3 – Gjeravica Summit (2656m) – Doberdol Distance 20 km Disnivel +900 – 850
Drive toward Mount Gjeravica and begin your climb across wildflower meadows and rocky ridges. Pass a heart-shaped alpine lake before the final rugged push to Kosovo’s highest point. Descend along an old border patrol trail and overnight near the tri-border of Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro. Overnight in Doberdol.

Day 4 – Doberdol – Ceremi Distance 16 km Disnivel -520 m
Cross back into Albania on a scenic mountain traverse through forests, high pastures and the dramatic Gashi River Gorge. Wildlife thrives here beneath the peaks of the Accursed Mountains. End the day in the quiet shepherd village of Cerem, hosted by a welcoming local family. Overnight in Ceremi.

Day 5 – Ceremi – Valbona Distance 19 km Disnivel +1000 m – 1500 m.

Another siganture trek of Peaks of the Balkans, passing beneath Montenegro’s official highest summit Zla Kolata. Cross into Montenegro via high karst terrain and admire sweeping views across Prokletije National Park and Valbona Valley. Descend to Valbona for a celebratory home-cooked dinner.

Day 6 – Komani Lake & Return
Transfer to Fierza and cruise the spectacular Komani Lake, a fjord-like gem of the Albanian Alps. Continue to Tirana. Overnight in a centrally located hotel in Tirana.

Day 7 – Departure/End of Services
Tour ends in Tirana. Optional airport transfer available without extra cost.
