Day 1-2: Tirana – Start your journey in the capital of Albania, Tirana. Visit the historic center, the Block, the Great Park and enjoy the local cuisine.
Day 3: Berat– Head to the city of Berat, known as the “city of millennials”. Visit the historic city which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Day 4-5: Gjirokastra – Continue to Gjirokastra, another city with a rich cultural heritage. Visit the Gjirokastra castle and Enver Hoxha’s house museum.
Day 6-7: Saranda – Head back north towards the coast. A stopover in the seaside town of Saranda will give you the opportunity to visit the beautiful beaches of the Ionian Sea and the ancient city of Butrint, another UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 8-9: Vlora – Returning north, rest in Vlora and visit the Albanian Independence monument, beautiful beaches and enjoy traditional seafood.
Day 10: Return to Tirana – Return to the capital to conclude the 10-day cultural tour of southern Albania.
